Well, I'm fixing to proof read my next paper due tomorrow night at 9pm, but before I do, I guess I'll update ya on whats happening around these-here-parts.
Tate is a madman. Just this morning I watched as he climbed in the little blue chair and jumped off. Then saw him lay over the edge of the toy chair, fall on his head and then his legs kicked on over. But he sure is happy. His signs are going well, he knows mom, dad, more and please. And that's good, because he loves to go digging through the cereal drawer and pull out all the boxes of food. He then sits down on the ground, right in front of you signing please please please, and mumbling some sort of dialect. He has started giving open mouth kisses, which goes great with the fountain of droul springing from his new teeth.
Jackson is experiencing some sort of voice change lately. We thought it was a cold or allergies, and who knows, it may be, but theres some hoarseness coming about in his talking. He drew his first picture this week of a family of 5. We were so amazed, and shocked to find out it wasn't our family. It was Brad April Braden Dayne and Cade. hahahaha. Out in their swimming pool. He had his last soccer game Saturday, and got to have pizza and medal night at Mr. Gattis (or as Jack calls it, Mr. Daddys)
Blakely is having drug awareness week. And so they are wearing silly things all week. Tonight I asked her if she knew what they were talking about, and she said no, they just had to wear silly socks. I said they are teaching you not to smoke (because we've had this talk already), so that you can take care of yourself. To which she expressed, well then how in the world are we learning to take care of our bodies by wearing silly socks??? haahhaah. Man those kids.
We are staying pretty busy. But really what does that mean? We just have life going on. Lots of emotions involved in our lives besides kids, school and work. Family, health issues of friends, concerns about raising our kids in this world. But tonights lesson in church touched on a good schematic thought from Luke 4, as it says, Jesus returned to 'his hometown' in the power of the Spirit. No matter where I'm heading, I'm going in the power of the Spirit.
So that's my closing to you... Go in the Power of the Spirit.
